That’s Andrey about to land a nice “teep” (push kick in Thai) on his opponent. It’s such a simple technique but I find it’s an underappreciated kick. It uses relatively little energy, it can be used in long or medium range, it can be used offensively or defensively and it is a great setup for other strikes. Also, it can sap the energy from your opponent, frustrate them and keep them from getting their own offence started. There are many more reasons why you should teep more often, so get on it and practice!!
