Learn Kickboxing and Muay Thai in a Safe, Supportive, and Fun Environment!
Whether you’re just starting out or looking to level up your skills, you’ll learn how to punch, kick, knee, and elbow with proper technique and confidence. We teach ring-tested combinations and emphasize strong fundamentals—because great technique leads to speed and power, not the other way around. Our focus is always on helping you move with balance, precision, and purpose.
And don’t worry—we haven’t forgotten about defense! You’ll hear us say it all the time: “Defense wins championships!” You’ll practice blocking, evading, and counter-striking, so you can land your shots while protecting yourself.
Classes are hands-on and partner-focused. You’ll hit pads and mitts, work the heavy bag, and drill both offense and defense in a fun and encouraging atmosphere. As you progress into our Intermediate and Advanced classes, you’ll have the option to spar—but only if you want to. Sparring is never mandatory.
Our goal is simple: help you learn, grow, and push past your comfort zone. Whether you ever step into a ring or not, you’ll feel like a champion every step of the way.

But unlike typical cardio boxing or cardio kickboxing classes, we go beyond just getting you to sweat—we teach you how to punch, kick, knee, and elbow the right way.
You’ll get an incredible, high-energy workout and real skill development at the same time. We’re all about helping you push yourself, but not at the expense of learning proper technique. Great training means more than just burning calories—it means building confidence in your movement and mastering each strike.
And the benefits don’t stop at the physical. Kickboxing and Muay Thai are amazing for your mind, too. Hitting pads is a powerful stress reliever, and as your body grows stronger, so does your confidence. Westside Kickboxing is a proud Muay Thai BC–registered gym, and we regularly book fights for our members throughout the Lower Mainland. Over the years, we’ve trained Provincial Muay Thai Champions, developed top contenders in BC’s fight scene, and helped athletes succeed in local amateur tournaments.
If fighting is your goal, we’re here to help you get there—but you’ve got to earn it. Becoming part of our fight team is a privilege, not a shortcut. It takes dedication, consistent training, and a strong, coachable mindset.

We are conveniently located across the street from the Olympic Village Canada Line station. There is street parking (metered and 2 Hour) available plus bike lockups beside our front door.
We are only 5 minutes from downtown Vancouver and our neighbours include Whole Foods, Save On Foods, Canadian Tire, Best Buy, Home Depot, London Drugs and many coffee shops and restaurants.
